About the Course
Designed by none other than the King himself, Arnold Palmer, King’s North has left its impression on the Grand Strand at the Myrtle Beach National Golf Club. Since its opening in 1996, this course has been recognized as one of the best golf courses in the region. Two of the holes can’t go without remembering, the par 5 sixth, also known as “The Gambler,” allows golfers two options with the tee shot, to risk or play it safe and go for par. The other, #12 par 3 with an island green and “SC” shaped bunkers, makes for a memorable round. King’s North has been named #19 on the list of South Carolina’s Best Public Courses in 2012 by Golf Magazine, and “4.5 Stars” by Golf Digest.
