The front nine plays through the Waccamaw Swamp, providing a look at South Carolina’s lowcountry that few have experienced. Wildlife is abundant as you share the property with wood ducks, egrets, alligators and many other types of wildlife that call the cypress swamp home.
When golfers emerge, they are greeted by a rolling back nine that features natural elevation change that is uncommon to the area. The three closing holes look as if they were set in the mountains, which adds to the variety that makes The Witch, a 4-star course, according to Golf Digest, special.
